Hauling the 30′ “David” Statue Projects

Our team carefully loaded the 30-foot statue of “David” onto a double drop trailer in New Jersey. From there, we began a two-day haul that included navigating through New York City’s busy streets before making the journey to Louisville.

Precision Hoisting and Installation

Once onsite at the 21C Hotel & Museum, ADKINS used specialized equipment to hoist “David” onto his pedestal. Our crew then bolted and secured the statue to ensure stability and long-term safety.

A Landmark Project for Louisville

Today, “David” proudly stands on the corner of West Main Street and 7th Street in downtown Louisville, where he has become a defining feature of the city’s cultural landscape.
